Oshuku Onsen is said to have been discovered by a woodcutter named "Suke" from Kaga (today Ishikawa Prefecture) about 450 years ago. Legend has it that he saw a Japanese bush warbler repeatedly soak its injured legs in the springs welling up between some rocks, and then perch on a nearby branch. In a few days, it flew away, completely healed. After that, he witnessed a haze of violet-tinged clouds. Come indulge in our warm and nonchalant, home-like hospitality.
